Brazilian Futsal camp trains youth players in the same way that Brazilian youth train and develop their skills. The fast-paced style of play, which rewards skill and speed of play, will show immediate results for intermediate and advanced players. The futsal ball is a smaller, weighted ball, which rewards players who have great ball possession. For those in need of more work with ball possession, the training modules will greatly enhance individual skill and comfort with the ball.

This camp will be run by coaches who have lived and trained in Brazil. These coaches have an understanding of the desired result and how a player should perform in Futsal.

This camp is 1/2 day and will be conducted indoors at the Wagner Training Center.

Full Day is recommended as the AM session will be run as an Italian-based training session while the PM session will be devoted to Brazilian skill development. It will be a true soccer immersion experience.

Azzurri Academy Camp was developed as an international soccer experience. The experience will be provided by those who have lived and trained in Europe and South America, giving a unique soccer learning environment.

This camp is a true "Campus" camp, where the participants are trained throughout the week by guest coaches, who are some of the most respected soccer minds in the region and beyond. Last year we were pleased to have Liz Masterson join us. Past coaches have included Kevin May, Bill Garno, Mike Domm, and Dan Hickey.

The afternoon session is our Futebol de Salao game program, which Brazilian youth use to rapidly develop their skills.

Goalie training is available.

Full day attendance is highly recommended.

Note: This camp is intended for:

Players going into 7th, 8th or 9th grade, who will be trying out for Modified school soccer in the fall of 2013.

The camp will also be a good training program for players who will be trying out for and/or participating in Travel soccer in the fall of 2013.

Finally, this camp is a good introduction for younger players, to the Wagner Academy training program.
